Library Appreciation Week

This week is often celebrated as Library Appreciation Week. I would like to use this time to express my appreciation to everyone who helps make our library the wonderful place it is.

First, I would like to express our deepest thanks to all of our volunteers who have been working behind the scenes for years. From maintenance tasks, to shelving, to offering assistance during programming–we have the most amazing volunteers. We are so grateful for each and every one of them–past and present, two-legged and four-footed. Thank you for being amazing!

Next, I would like to thank our patrons. Without you, our library would just be a building. With you, we have created a community that learns, grows and shares information together. We miss you and hope that you are all doing well during this rough time.

Lastly, thank you our staff who work diligently on the front lines. Thank you for doing the important work that you do to make our community a better and more connected place.  Thank you one and all! Be well and stay in touch!

Sincerely,

Moriah S.–New Lebanon Library Director
