Holiday/Seasonal Fun

For this month’s CCLA Virtual Readers Theater, we performed an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic tale: A Christmas Carol. If you were not able to join in the fun this past Tuesday, here is a recording for you to enjoy: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zfNzwWIHkIhCpBpCJsYh5vY2R0Ormzho/view?usp=sharing

Another bit of fun we have is the Grab n’ Go Science Kits. This month, we bring you: Fizzy Snowmen. Each kit contains enough to make one very good or several tiny “snowmen” from baking soda along with the chemical reaction you can start to make them melt. (Parents: if they do it in sink, you can get clean drains as a perk!) Stop by the library during opening hours to grab one today!

And finally, if you were not able to make it to our adult crafting session, there are still kits available for you to make your own snowman bulb to add cozy cheer to your home (or your tree for next year!) Follow along with our tutorial here. Drop by the library to get your kit and make a personalized bulb today!
